D’Sunlit inks partnerships for ASEAN Consumer Fair 2015

D’SUNLIT Sdn Bhd inked partnership agreements yesterday with various companies for the staging of the ASEAN Consumer Fair 2015, now on its 16th year.

The signing ceremony, attended by nine companies, took place at the company’s multi-purpose hall at the Beribi Industrial Site.

Scheduled to be held at the International Convention Centre on June 10 until June 14, the popular fair is organised by the D’Sunlit in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.

The theme for this edition of the consumer fair is ‘Celebrate Diversity’ and over 400 booths, with a wide range of products coming from across the ASEAN region, will offer visitors a glimpse of the wonders of ASEAN.

Signing on behalf of D’Sunlit was its Executive Director, Dato Paduka Hj Danial Hj Hanafiah, and witnessed by its General Manager, Christopher Chee.

The activity or events partners are Kingston Beverage & Creamery Sdn Bhd, Katakijau, Syarikat Perniagaan Malar Setia, DST Communications Sdn Bhd, NBT (B) Sdn Bhd, Oregon Systems, Ranoadidas, IBIC Sdn Bhd and The Brunei Times Sdn Bhd.

The others are Kristal Media Sdn Bhd, Aewon Garment & Embroidery Sdn Bhd, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, Radio Televisyen Brunei and Cebu Pacific.

During the four-day fair, various activities and games will be scheduled to entertain the public, such as an eating contest from Malar Setia, interactive games and exclusive deals from DST, disc jockeys from KFM, and much more.

Visitors can also get a chance to win one of the many amazing prizes in the ASEAN Consumer Fair Lucky Draw.

ASEAN Consumer Fair starts June 10

GET set to be spoilt with an array of choices for products and services from around the region once again as this year’s edition of the ASEAN Consumer Fair is set to make a comeback from June 10 to June 14 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.

Organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, the upcoming fair will feature vendors from the nation and ASEAN countries the likes of Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines, who will showcase their authentic products and rich culture such as the renowned Thailand Grand Fair.

These vendors offer a wide range of products — from food and beverages to fashion and beauty and even home and electrical products — making it the perfect one-stop shop for all your needs for the upcoming month of Ramadhan and festive Hari Raya season.

Aside from items to buy, a list of exciting activities for the young and old will also take place. Thailand Grand Fair is coming back!

GET a peek of the many wonders of Thailand at this year’s instalment of the annual ASEAN Consumer Fair, which is set to take place from June 10 to 14, at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

At the Thailand Grand Fair, visitors can expect to see showcases of the nation’s craftsmanship, such as umbrella painting, fruits and vegetables carving, as well as lantern and traditional puppet making.

Visitors will also be able to browse through the many Thai products, including handicrafts, jewellery, fruits, delicacies and household goods.

Additionally, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will be present throughout the duration of the fair to keep interested members of the public informed and updated on tourism in Thailand.

The Thailand Grand Fair, which is a joint cooperation project between the Thai Embassy to Brunei Darussalam along with Thai entrepreneurs from the country and the Sultanate, gives visitors to the ASEAN Consumer Fair a glimpse into the country’s rich and vibrant culture and lifestyle.

It has been part of the Consumer Fair since 2009, and it has been made possible with the assistance of the Consumer Fair’s organiser, D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, along with the cooperation and support from the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

This year’s ASEAN Consumer Fair is themed “Celebrating Diversity”.
